BLACKBERRY MESSENGER
The best, free QR Code Reader for BlackBerry’s, is Pre-Installed within Blackberry Messenger (BBM) 5.0 or greater. Instructions for utilizing your QR Reader are below.
If you do not have Blackberry Messenger 5.0 or greater, click on the link below to be directed to your Blackberry App World for the update or download of the latest free version of BBM.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download Blackberry Messenger Here.
2. Select the Blackberry Messenger (BBM) Icon
3. In Blackberry Messenger, press your menu button
4. Select “Invite a Contact” from the List
5. Depending on your version of BBM, you will either Select:
“Scan a Person’s Barcode” or “QR Barcode”
6.The QR Code Reader Application utilizes your Blackberry’s Camera Lens. Hold your phone over the QR Code so that it is entirely visible within your screen. You may need to “very slowly” move your phone up or down untill it “automatically” recognizes the QR Code.
